- GL H Added July 13, 2017★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I went to the Robina Community Legal Centre and met Ross Lee. He said that I had a good case but I didn’t meet the community legal criteria for some reason so I had to see him at his office in Southport as a paying client.
Anyway, after I saw him and then had a couple of phone calls and a letter sent I was no further along than before and the other party was threatening to take me for costs. Ross said that it was my choice but my chances if I took further action were not very good. I think he should have known this and told me from the start, so all I got out of this was paying several thousand for a letter and some phone calls and some false hope that I’d been taken on to make Ross some quick cash with very little work.
After this experience it has taken me a while before I have been brave enough to look for a second opinion, here’s hoping I get a better lawyer next time.
