BE AWARE OF THIS MINI DEALERSHIP - GO TO FORTITUDE VALLEY IN BRISBANE OR MOTORLINE MINI in DAISY HILL! I have purchased 3 minis from Brisbane-based dealerships over the last year & was extremely happy with the service. I recommended a friend to purchase one - what a nightmare that has been. Mini Gold Coast stuffed up the first order & made my friend wait 3 mths for the mini - this was fine as it was coming from the o/s factory. However when it arrived mini Gold Coast had DECALED the roof rather than have it come as a painted white roof. Can u imagine this - after waiting 3 months for the black car with a white roof - they had the audacity to decal it without telling her. When she commented about it they said 'this is how we do it at this dealership'. Her car has 3000km on it and is less than 5 months old and the decal is peeling/ripping & discoloring & mini Gold Coast doesn't care & hasn't even bothered to ring her back after she complained. Mini Australia has said that dealerships have the freedom to do what they want - so much for keeping the standard of mini. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM MINI GOLD COAST -- YOU WILL ONLY OBTAIN AN INFERIOR MINI.

July - its now been 8 weeks since I wrote this complaint. Mini Gold Coast begged for this review to be removed, apologizes were made & promises to fix the issue were given. Moving forward, we all thought the issue would be resolved promptly with a high degree of professionalism. This has not been the case. The situation has gone from undesirable to down right disrespectful.. To fix the issue Gold Coast Mini arranged to have a transport company pick the vehicle up & have the roof spray-painted in Townsville. Sounds simple hey? Here are the NEW list of issues that have since emerged - 1: the company arrived & was shocked to find a brand new mini. They had been told they were picking up a 1974 model - mis-communication?????. 2: the dealership in Townsville rang to ask what exactly they were doing as no paperwork had been sent thru from Gold Coast & the paint protection which had been paid for had not been mentioned & was unable to be done until 6 weeks AFTER the paint job. - so did this mean the mini was being kept for a minimal 7 week period? 3: Staff at Gold Coast were unable to be reached for confirmation & when they finally did return calls, they asked Townsville to revise their quote - wouldn't you have thought all of this was arranged prior to picking up the mini? 4: the mini was picked up by the delivery company and left parked on the side of the road for 2 nights, it was then loaded on a truck beside an elevated scissor lift & it also made a detour to a mine site along the way - imagine if you had of purchased a brand new mini & this is how they treated it? 5: at no time was a car offered to replace the mini that was being painted & no-one can give a time-frame of when it will be returned. Townsville said they are backlogged & it won't be painted for at least a couple of weeks. Does this sound like the after-care service you would want from a dealership? Gold Coast do not care - they only care about the sale. If you wanted to be treated like a human-being do not purchase a mini from this dealership - go to Brisbane or Springwood like I advised. The Gold Coast Mini Dealership & Australia Mini for allowing such a sub-standard service to continue, should be ashamed.

Best purchasing experience I' have had. I've never been one for writing reviews and never really felt a need to with most purchases. But David Hodges & Jason Ward's service, knowledge and professionalism made the whole transaction an absolute buying pleasure. Great work guys and thank heaps.
Peta from finance was also exellent.

Thanks to Richard for a great experience looking to purchase a mini countryman. He handled our family with great humour, asked genuine questions, listened to our responses and our needs. Excellent service and greatly appreciated.
